A note from the organizer
This fly-in exists because of years of building trust and goodwill with the ranching community and locals around Custer. We've got something rare here — an open, welcoming place to fly with zero red tape. That's not guaranteed anywhere, and it's not something to take for granted.
This is BLM land. There are no vendors, no event staff, no infrastructure. Bring everything you need. Pack out everything you brought. Respect the land, respect the locals, and respect each other. Basic DBAD applies.
Keep in mind, just about every Rancher around here owns a shotgun and an excavator. 😉 They're good people — and they've chosen to look the other way as long as we're good guests. Let's keep it that way.

String Theory PPG in Partnership with FlyHighBigSky
String Theory PPG is offering tandem paramotor instruction sessions throughout the Custer Fly In. Whether you've never been in the air or you're curious about paramotoring, this is your chance to experience flight firsthand.
We fly on the Limitless Nomad — a professional tandem trike built by Aviators PPG and featured by Tucker Gott. Reserve parachute, dual redundancy engine, bush wheel trike — all gear provided. No experience or certification required (FAR Part 103 Ultralight).
Secure your spot with a $50 deposit online — it holds your place in the queue. Pay the remaining $100 on arrival. First come, first served. Weather-dependent.
