FAA EXEMPTION DISCLOSURE — REQUIRED NOTICE
This flight is conducted under an exemption granted by the FAA. The FAA does not establish certification standards for powered ultralight vehicles, pilots, or instructors. All tandem flights provided by String Theory PPG are For Instruction Only.
Tandem instruction flights are operated under ASC Training Exemption No. 9785G (Aero Sports Connection), which authorizes Basic Flight Instructors to conduct two-place powered paraglider flights for training purposes. This exemption does not constitute FAA aircraft certification, pilot certification, or instructor certification. Your $50 deposit and $100 session fee are compensation for flight instruction and educational services only — not for passenger transportation or any other purpose. You are participating as a student receiving hands-on flight instruction.
NATURE OF ACTIVITY
Paramotoring (powered paragliding) is an ultralight aviation activity conducted under Federal Aviation Regulation Part 103. Under Part 103, ultralight vehicles are explicitly exempt from FAA aircraft certification and pilot certification requirements.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Paramotoring is an inherently dangerous activity involving serious risk of injury or death. Risks include but are not limited to: equipment failure, adverse weather conditions, turbulence, pilot error, collision with obstacles, and the unpredictable forces of nature. By reserving a session, you voluntarily and knowingly assume all such risks.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
You agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless String Theory PPG, its instructors, agents, and the owners of any property used for flight operations from any and all claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your participation, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
EQUIPMENT
Your session will be conducted using the Limitless Nomad tandem trike, a purpose-built instructional aircraft equipped with dual magnetos, dual spark plugs, and a deployable reserve parachute.
DEPOSIT & PAYMENT TERMS
Your $50 deposit is non-refundable and holds your position in the waitlist indefinitely. If a session date is set and you do not appear, or if you appear but are unable to complete the $100 final payment, your deposit is forfeited and your position is released. If String Theory PPG cancels or aborts a session for any reason, your $100 final payment (if made) will be fully refunded and your position in the queue is preserved.
